Moving from Moneyhub, Emma or Snoop

Your history, your categories, your accounts — on your iPhone.

Moneyhub closed on 14 August 2026. If you used it to see your spending, savings, investments and pension in one place, Vartu does the same on your phone — and your years of sorted transactions come with you.

What comes across

• Every transaction — date, amount and description.
• Your categories. Each row keeps the category you gave it; a category Vartu does not have yet is made for you.
• Your accounts. A file that holds several bank accounts is split into those accounts, each made in Vartu by its own name.
• Nothing twice. Importing the same file again, or one that overlaps it, adds only what is new.

1. Get the file

Moneyhub

Transactions → the cloud icon → Begin Download. If you saved that file before 14 August 2026, it imports as it is. If you did not, Moneyhub still has to give you your data when you ask for it under UK GDPR.

Emma

Profile → the cog → Account → Export your data, and pick the dates. Emma allows this on Pro or Ultimate, from the phone app rather than the web one.

Snoop

On the home screen, All transactions → Export. Snoop allows this on Snoop Plus.

2. Import it

In Vartu open Settings → Import and choose the file. The columns are filled in for you: check that Category and Account are set, look at the rows it shows, and import.

3. Set today's balances

The file holds transactions, not balances. Open each account once and type what is in it today, so the totals start from the right place.

And the rest of what Moneyhub showed

Investments come in from your broker's statement (Trading 212, Interactive Brokers, or any CSV). Property, pensions and anything else you own can be added in Accounts and valued by hand or kept up to date for you.

Nothing leaves your phone. There is no Vartu account and no server holding your records.
